Think Smaller.

Were so accustomed to the idea "bigger is better" thats its difficult to change our way of thinking overnight. Yet when it comes to green design smaller is a no-brainer.

Compact design is important because smaller houses use less material,  and consume less energy during their lifetime.  Many people who designed overly large homes are now selling them.  Statistics show that larger homes are lived in fewer years than smaller ones.  Perhaps because they cost more to maintain.
